Flow & Motion – Dombra makes it easy to add movement and nylon percussion to the music. It is a fully sampled instrument with no pre-recorded chords or loops, designed for authentic rhythmic performance. Natural rhythms blend seamlessly across many genres including cinematic, rock, folk, and modern scoring. The instrument is based on a smart engine powered by machine learning and built on real performances. It naturally captures the human feel, timing, and dynamics while staying flexible and easy to use.
As composers, we like many rhythm guitar-type libraries, and how they sound, but the engines only use one-shots. And we have to play billions of notes to make them work properly. Maybe the library is difficult to use, lacks a real rhythm engine, or the engine is too basic for complex or custom grooves. These libraries may also use pre-recorded chords. Those can’t be easily edited. In the end, it's easier to hire session musicians than to use a newly purchased library.
The main idea behind Flow & Motion - Dombra is to create a powerful rhythm instrument that is easy to use. No need to know how the engine works. Just press a few keys, and the instrument will automatically choose the right string and fret. The instrument performs with the same natural feel, timing, and dynamics as a real player.
