This topic was already discussed here in another thread in September/October, but the website didn't come back until now. Also, contact failed :S

Very sad indeed..
software is a tool that allows us to complete a given task.
social media is full of tools that distract us from a given task.

That is sad news. I wonder if he would consider making the products open source?

I have a couple of their plug-ins, and I’m wondering what this will mean for legitimate license owners. It feels a bit disrespectful to not receive any kind of email notification.

Sucks. I really wish he would at least let people know instead of just disappearing. That sucks. Aspect was pretty damn great. And there's really nothing else quite like Architect.

I think it’s more likely Colin was taken ill or had to deal with some other emergency rather than just shutting the business down suddenly. Very few small plugin suppliers are doing it as a full-time job.

Yes, I think so too.Gamma-UT wrote: Sun Nov 09, 2025 7:34 am I think it’s more likely Colin was taken ill or had to deal with some other emergency rather than just shutting the business down suddenly. Very few small plugin suppliers are doing it as a full-time job.
We had contact around may and he mentioned that things weren't great. Obviously I didn't pry, I just wished him all the best as I do now.

A brief message would clarify things. So it doesn't look great :S

Unfortunately, I didn't back up the latest Loomer installers. I found working links on the wayback machine for Aspect, Manifold, and String.
Does anyone have installers for Resound, Sequent, and Shift?

Be grateful they didn't use Challenge/Response or ILok or any of that crap. You should be able to restore everything from your back up.morphex wrote: Sat Nov 08, 2025 9:56 pm I have a couple of their plug-ins, and I’m wondering what this will mean for legitimate license owners.
