Just FYI now all FKFX stuff at sale 60% off with coupon FREESYNTH60 (so additionally you get KrishnaSynth full as bonus).pekbro wrote: Tue Jul 08, 2025 7:54 pm Their stuff is interesting, but a bit expensive imo. Dunno that I’ll ever move beyond the
free versions.
As for me think grab Vocal Freeze, with coupon it turns out 31$ (+ synth), that seems not bad.
I agree there is interesting things here \ perhaps underrated a bit.

I used the promo and got Dyna Pro which is kind of unique distortion, but then I'm a distortion nut; really bought this for KrishnaSynth which it turns out seems very interesting and something different for sound design. These 2 both seem unique and interesting especially KrishnaSynth. Picked up OF Lite free also, fun for free but maybe not that different from using modulators on filters within other synths that have good mod options? I got Influx Free a year ago which is also fun free resonator with 2 modulators but neither of these freebies seem as interesting to me as the first 2 mentioned.

Undecided between the wave folder and filter, dist probably more useful, but the filter is pretty neat. Somehow I can't get excited about anything called KrishnaSynth heh..

I think for grab OF2 full, although initially wanted just freezer (and did), but found that OF contain already InFlux engine too (?) in sense which Pro. Or i'm mistaken. Frankly i quite liked freeware Influx, but was unready grab big version for reg price. So later observed OF, now unsure what to do. Something else will grab defenitely.
Upd By other words - i'm wonder if OF2 replace InFlux Pro. Or not exactly.
(Jusging by reg price it able to suppose that too - since OF more expensive anear to twice)

I got Sylab free at intro but the OF2 filter does have something of the others inside, I'll probably grab it in the end. Heh, I forgot to actually demo the pro versions since I had the free ones.
*doh, bought the OF2, 5k presets is a lot...

I was an early adopter of FKFX plug-ins, because each one is deep enough for extreme exploration. And even though they’re software, during playback they often sound like analog processors. They’re very powerful and fun to use, after learning FKFX’s workflow. I highly recommend them!!

That’s what first grabbed my attention, because I used to love Ohm Force back in the day.pekbro wrote: Sun Nov 09, 2025 6:52 am I didn't know part of FKFX is one of the original ohm force devs, interesting...
*DSP guy no less.

Got reply from Nicolas (FKFX):c_voltage wrote: Sat Nov 08, 2025 9:12 pm Upd By other words - i'm wonder if OF2 replace InFlux Pro. Or not exactly.
So seems need both. Both products are quite different. OF2 “Influx effect" is a simplified version of the main Influx Pro effect , so it can produce similar sounds, but lacks some of the finer controls and details found in Influx Pro. So the answer to your question is no, OF2 can not replace the abilities of Influx Pro.
Influx Free and Influx Pro share the same core flux resonator sound, but the Pro version adds LFO morphing and several other advanced features.
In short: OF2 is more of a super sounding analog style filter with tons of presets and precise features like read-ahead slide up, while Influx Pro leans more toward a resonator effect — so it also depends on what kind of sound you use most often.

I wound up getting both of them yesterday myself actually, on account of the sale...
*I just happened to look at their about page, tbh I thought they were a Chinese company
for some reason, weirdly... like 3 body tech.

Funny thing, now trying KrishnaSynth, and first what me feel when load UI its really pleasant, after all these soulless novadays sharp flat vector interfacess. The heat is literally radiating from the screen lol. And this is really does job - appears desire to make things even from simple signals.
I would advise to take it for note for dev's.
And pay attention how simple \ elegant solved that - there is just TWO sizes - normal (old), and "big" - that with 90% probability will suitable to any of novaday display.
Ie - it allow to keep complexity of raster artistic design side (no need to break all, in sake of simplify packing\resizing), and - it not require install a billion picture files at HDD (for Arturia guys). It's amazing simple.

Yes KrishnaSynth is a surprise! I hadn't really looked at it before, maybe the name and look struck me as probably just another generic synth, but listening to youtube demos and reading its apparently unique features. it's quite nice! The frame synthesis I've not seen elsewhere and actually sounds unique!

Agreed. I believe the FKFX sale ends today, I picked up Influx Pro, Vocal Freeze and got Krishnasynth full all for a VERY reasonable price.
