Only 23 days until Black Friday. I guess we'll know soon. I'm not even that concerned about new features it's just the annual proof of life check in....

I wonder who writes the code? Rene' or Mirko? Or both?

I've been quite impressed by SynthMaster 3 lately (not tried it since the free version bump). it's not quite as simple as Rapid is to use, but then again I can't use Rapid anymore as it locks up Bitwig.

No replies from support via email or the contact us web form, and no updates = dead software.

Don't hold on, move on...

im ok with a product as it is as long as it works, but when it doesnt have a proper support but still being sold, its not ok.

Sylenth1 last update was long time ago, but it doesnt need any, it works.

Synthmaster is the buggiest plugin I own, so much so that I don't even bother with it any longer. On the other hand Rapid has always been stable and I have no issues with its performance.

The only issue I have is the complete lack of communication from the developers especially when asked if they go out of business will we still be able to authorize Rapid.

There's plenty to choose from and it's black Friday soon:

- Zebra / Zebra HZ
- The Legend HZ
- MiniMonsta 2
- MiniBrute V
- MiniFreak V

None of those plugins you listed are in any way a replacement for Rapid. You might as well add Synth 1 to that list. There is simply no valid comparison. Apples/Oranges

At any rate I already own Nexus 5 and VPS Avenger so I don't really need Rapid but it is a great synth and I'd rather not lose it. If you can't use Rapid then yeah do move on....

Again, Rapid works fine here. That's never been an issue.

Sylenth 1 may work but it can no longer compete with plugins that are newer and under frequent development.

The same thing is happening with Rapid. The slow pace of development is causing it to fall behind synths like Nexus 5 and VPS Avenger in performance and most likely sales as well.

If your product can't keep up with the competition it will eventually fall victim to it.......

Did you report any issues to us directly? I don't see any issues submitted by you in our issues database. Could you please elaborate on what issues you are still having with SynthMaster 3, in our SynthMaster 3 thread?

I'm not defaming you I'm simply pointing out a fact. Yes I have reported issues multiple times in your Synthmaster 3 thread without results.

No, I'm not going to spend any further time reporting them.

Good luck with Synthmaster 3. I'll give it another go in a few months to see if updates have made it more stable here but at this point I simply don't have time to spend with plugins that are problematic for me when I have so many alternatives that aren't.

Yes I have reported issues multiple times in your Synthmaster 3 thread without results.

I went through the entire thread, and the only showstopper issue that you reported and has not been 100% resolved is

I can confirm bugs with Rapid breaking some DAWs, they have been reported multiple times a long time ago and need fixes.
I can't confirm Sylenth1 to be outdated and comparing it to workstation synths is not smart.
I can't confirm Synthmaster to be buggy as hell.
I can confirm Avenger to have been buggy as hell though and we've still found like performance issues on simple presets or gui locks recently.

Back to topic, not sure what Parawave plans are for Rapid or if this has just become some passive income. I think something really really big is needed to gain back trust, and proper communication training needs to happen.

MegaPixel would disagree, as he wrote the plugin locks up Bitwig. It doesnt matter that Sylenth1 doesnt feeel modern or cant compete thats not the point im making.

Works fine in Bitwig for me, even in the newest beta, and even without process isolation.
