  • Added option to display a piano keyboard on the frequency ruler.
  • Added Auto Pause mode (pauses display according to the DAW playhead).

Love the addition of the piano!

Visu is a great tool. Thank you for the constant updates.
It refuses description, allowing only the vague approach of adjectives: dark, light, raw, angelic. Who or what is making these noises? Where are they coming from and what do they point to? What kind of entity can leave such a troubling sonic remnant?

It's just that i can't seem to set a default startup preset.

What i did was copy one of my presets to the folder containing Init.tkpreset, overwriting the existing file. ( in Application Support / Tritik / Visu / Presets)
But when i load the plugin, it defaults to different settings. When i go to the Presets menu and choose "Init", i do get my saved settings.

Maybe i'm doing this wrong. Can i define the default startup preset? It appears that the plugin initially doesn't read that Init.

I'm on OSX.

Thanks for the update!

Which DAW are you using?

I'm using Live 12. To be clear, im not talking about Floor / Ceiling as earlier, i'm just talking about using a preset i created as Default.

Thanks

Thanks.
Some hosts let you define a default state for new plugin instances, but Live 12 doesn't (as far as I know).
I've added your request (option to load a user-defined default preset on startup) to the VISU todo list.

Just a small heads-up: as previously noted on the product page, Visu could move to fixed pricing later this year.
Visu will now move from pay-what-you-want pricing to a fixed price of 10€ on July 1st.
Until then, licences remain available from 5€.
Existing licences will keep working as before, and the free black-and-white version will remain fully functional with no licence needed.

Great tool. I read the manual but could you elaborate a bit on the use-cases of the different frequency scales? Or a good paper about that topic would do it too. Thanks
