I really wish IK would make the Download Manager a easier process. Right now, you have to download the program, then the sounds/models, then go to the zip files of the sounds/models to install them. Granted, they are large files, but Arturia's & NI's are simpler: set your preferences, download, and it's all where you tell it to download.

As someone who pre-ordered, I only had the original pre-order email - nothing since.Peter - IK Multimedia wrote: Tue Nov 11, 2025 10:32 pmPre-orders were released today in IK Product Manager and you can order ReSing. The pre-order pricing is still in effect. The free version will be available this time next week.lotus2035 wrote: Tue Nov 11, 2025 10:03 pm So it's released now? What happened to the free version with two voices, I would like to try it out.
You may want to reach out and speak to the wider team to verify what is happening here, as if I hadn't checked this thread, I would not have known the product I pre-ordered was available.
Update: I have now received the 'release' email. I would have liked the previous one letting me know 'when', but at least it's all working right now.

Not to mention that if you change the preferences whilst downloads are queued, everything in the queue ignores the changes...Saukar30 wrote: Wed Nov 12, 2025 4:08 am I really wish IK would make the Download Manager a easier process. .. and as for the queue, you can't actually 'see' it anywhere but have to just scroll through the entire list to find what is 'enqueued' and guess the order.

On the topic of the product itself, when it offers to run the Optimization and says "This may take several minutes", it's telling the truth - I presume it's looking at each model, and so can be a fair while if you have the whole pack.
EDIT: And don't believe it when it finishes and still says you haven't run optimisation. Restart it.

I don't understand the model creation limitation. Is this for online generation or do you limit the amount of models I can train on my own GPU?

I haven't played with it much yet, but out of the box it is fast (on my M1 Mac Ultra) and the fusion - mixing between two models - gives some really interesting results. I just took a rough acapella from the internet, and it did a reasonable job.
I need to give it some clean source material, both my own, and from Synthesizer V, and see where it goes, but I'm looking forward to spending a lot of time playing with it.

Ah, 28GB isn't too bad. Hopefully the intro price will be available after the demo comes out.

It is how many models you can generate yourself with ReSing. Separate from RVC imports (they're in a separate category on the chart too).Held wrote: Wed Nov 12, 2025 4:28 pmI don't understand the model creation limitation. You generate models using the ReSing software, yes. There's an add-on for unlimited model generation, you can see this information on the ReSing web page https://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/resing

There's a ReSing update in the IK Product Manager.
We recommend all users update to the latest version of ReSing for the best experience.
What's new in version 1.0.1:
We recommend all users update to the latest version of ReSing for the best experience.
What's new in version 1.0.1:
- ReSing now defaults to the CPU to prevent startup AI engine errors, with optional device optimization moved to Settings and fully resettable if unsupported devices are detected.
- Removed the "Run optimization" notification shown at startup to reduce confusion. It is strongly suggested you launch optimization manually from the Settings panel.

As always anything sample-based in the IK world, this is becoming a pain to install.
1. You can't install it on another drive. Has to go to program files
2. Reinstalled in correct drive, installed sounds, it worked for a minute then crashed
3. Download the update, installed, now it doesn't recognize the sounds that I installed previously
Now, Im uninstalling the update. Going to do a fresh install of sounds and program.
It's never simple with IK
