trying to make this kind of sound (not sure about term, power chord slide maybe) at 2:10, wondering if there's a proper way to do it with Ample Eclipse. Tried just simple pitch automation but it didn't really sound like it at all.
How do I do this kind of slide with Ample Eclipse

I only hear a portamento/glide down in pitch like you mentioned.
- speed and how far is essential so curve of automation important
- this sound like a D to an A
Look for some legato setting so you can run the notes down as half notes.
- this way it does not produce new attack part of synth
- in this case hold a D and then also an A in legato
Since guitar is fretted, unless using a slide, it would be 5 steps of half notes.
- so a full pitch glide will not sound exactly the same but might be good enough
Just practice manually with pitch wheel and even write automation and repeat until it sounds right.
- just might have to set pitch to 5 half notes(a 4th) range or something so it covers the "slide"
- or experiment setting until PW max range covers the full pitch range you want perfectly
- then only speed left to practice
