We are happy to introduce the 10th library of our Exploration series - Deckard's Dream vs Kijimi.
Our Deckard's Dream (Exploration 04) and Kijimi (Exploration 03) libraries are the bestsellers of the Exploration series so we thought that the best choice for this little milestone of ours is to provide you with another boutique collection of these spectacular synthesizers.
What is included?
Deckard's Dream > 10 bass loops, 10 chord loops, 10 pad loops, 20 synth loops and 2 instruments (6 octaves, C0-C6); a total of 146 one-shots.
Kijimi > 10 bass loops, 10 chord loops, 10 pad loops, 20 synth loops and 2 instruments (6 octaves, C0-C6); a total of 146 one-shots.
As usual, all loops are key-labelled and processed through an all-analogue signal path. Corresponding MIDI files are included too.
A little background for those of you who are not familiar with these two synths:
Deckard's Dream is a modern emulation of the Yamaha CS-80 - the most sought after polyphonic synth on the planet. It has silky smooth filters and oscillators and it's the most musical synthesizer in our studio.
Kijimi is a modern emulation of the RSF Polykobol II, an extremely rare polyphonic synth made in France. Its exhaustive modulation matrix is a tweaker's paradise and we love to get deep into sound design with it.
We tried to capture the very best of these machines and we believe that the result is a planetary-sized analog sound.
Processing:
API 5500
Black Box Analog Design HG-2
Gyraf G24
Manley ELOP+ & Massive Passive
Neve 1064
Overstayer MAS
Rupert Neve Designs Master Bus Transformer & Portico II
Tegeler Magnetismus 2
Effects:
Chase Bliss CXM 1978
Eventide Eclipse
Meris LVX
