Well, it's a lot easier than programming a DX7 directly. When I had mine, I used Dexed to program patches, and then sent them to the DX7..jon wrote: Tue Nov 11, 2025 5:59 pm I didn't know Dexed had a mac version, awesome! Never going to learn to program it, but I love some of old DX7 patches. Thanks!
Dexed 0.9.9

The latest version installed OK on my Mac mini Sonoma14.8.2 and Logic 11.2.2, but it failed to install on an old Mac Pro with Sierra and Logic 10.4.4. Plugin manager said it couldn't open the plugin. I tried to install from older pkg files (dating from before 2022) but they all installed 1.0.0.. How is that possible?

Thanks, but I already tried that. It says 0.9.8 but actually it installs 1.0.0.

do you refer the "1.0.0" number by the finder-info or pluginmanager reading?soundman007 wrote: Thu Nov 13, 2025 2:24 pm Thanks, but I already tried that. It says 0.9.8 but actually it installs 1.0.0.
i think it's just a number with no meaning: any of those older version had
finderinfo of "1.0.0" iirc
-> i wouldn't take this seriously
but rather what the pluginwindow by itself tells
which is "0.9.8" for the o.0.9.8 dowloaded version....

And the plugin window cannot be opened because the plugin can not be opened.
I had 0.9.8 on my computer and that worked perfectly, it also said 0.9.8. Since updating to 1.0.0. it no longer works.
