Syne v1.5.4 is available now with the following fixes:

Fixed issues with mono/legato mode, including a crashing bug
Fixed issues with portamento
Fixed crash when loading/unloading/loading the plug-in
Other stability fixes

Click on "Check for updates" under Settings / Support tab to download this update.

Thank you Attila, well done! Been working with it for an hour and it feels stable now. Just something else i noticed: The "waveform" module creates clicks on legato passages.

I usually work with the partial module and there the legato is smooth. The wavemorpher is also smooth. I also tried setting the various modules to sinewaves to hear the click better. So it seems only the Waveform module creates clicks and only on note overlaps with legato. (The voice mode: mono is clickfree)

Steps to reproduce: Just start a new Syne instance, select voice mode "mono legato", add a waveform module and play some legato.

Edit: The Decay module & Filter module does not work with legato mode?

I recently had to reinstall windows and used the link from my purchase email of rapidcomposer 5, but this lead to version 6. I had 5.1.2 installer on my external disk, which installed and registered correctly but when I try to check for updates I get an "error connecting to server" message. How do I get the latest version of 5 that I am licensed to use please?

And for me, same issue, when installing the VST3 does not install.. I get an error, if I ignore, I can get at least get the stand alone.

Since March 11th, 2024, update checking stopped working in RapidComposer due to server configuration changes. It was fixed soon after this, so it works in newer versions.

The last v5 installer (v5.5.7) will remain available:

Download RapidComposer v5.5.7 for Windows
Download RapidComposer v5.5.7 for macOS

Hi BluGenes,

most probably there is a folder called RapidComposerV6.vst3 as a result of a problem in the beta version installer. The installer cannot overwrite the folder with a file. Please delete that folder, and re-install. It will work.

I am on 6.0.0. The forum says that 6.0.1 is available. But RC support page offers me 6.0.2:

That downloads an installer named "RapidComposer-6.0.2.exe". But when I run it, I still end up with my original 6.0.0!!

What is going on???

6.02. I wanted to try new soundfonts and can't them to be visible or usable. They're recognized, RC builds presets, but there's nowhere to be found. Anyne else run into this?
