Quick Question : Is there a faster way to just drag n drop one shots wav samples on the UI and building patches this way ?

Or should I be looking at maybe picking up Electra3 ? What would you guys recommend for working with one shot samples. thnx in advance

I don't understand the question. My workflow to drag and drop samples is... Drag and drop!

Works flawlessly in Ableton. Select a sample in the Live browser, drag and drop it into Icarus, done. Can't be fafter than that. What do you mean by faster?

I assume this happened as you had already opened the file for editing in another software. This is a restriction of the OS.

To quickly create a new patch based on a one-shot sample I recommend:
1) Click on the resynthesis button on the bottom next to the vocoder.
2) the use 'Load a wav sample' (classic sample import without resynthesis)
3) Then the synth will ask you to Auto-tune the sample. It will setup everything automatically

Hi, it's not allowing for drag n drop from either cubase's browser / mediabay and presonus studios ones browser.

What';s really odd, is that Arturia's Pigments works fine,and all other vst's that support correct drag n drop..

Is there any way Tone2, you guys can update your plugin so daws like studi one and cubase browsers are fully supported too ? Or ??

Drag and drop is supported in general. However you must use the file Manager of your OS and not something from within your DAW.
If there is demand for it I will check out if it is possible to support drag & drop also from within Cubases' internal browser.

Dragging from Mediabay to 3rd party synths + samplers has always been huge and there's been a demand since around 2011, I was one of the original voices. As I mentioned Arturia's ( Pigments ) and Mpc's samplers like Geist,Maschine + Kontakt,,u name it.. drag n drop support FROM Cubase MEDIABAY and Presonus Studio One's browsers have been golden for years now. They work in all- most ! other software synths and samplers, this is why I was shocked to see Tone2 not support it.

During the last years we did not receive requests for supporting Mediabay drag&drop from other users. Most of our customers are no sound designers and not everyone is using Cubase.
Anyway I have noted your feature request. I will check out if it is possible to support it.

There are also tons of exclusive features to discover in Icarus that other synths do not offer.
