Hi, imm interested in BoomLibrary Enrage as its on offer at the moment, I was wondering what It would bring to the table as i already have Kilohearts Snapheap and Cableguys shaperbox.
Any insight appreciated

I trialed it and I wasn't impressed. Particularly for the regular price.
The UI is reasonably well laid out but the inividual effects blocks are kind of meh.
Presets are very mediocre and I just found the whole thing strangely uninspiring.

I think what you have is better. Maybe upgrade to multipass with Kilohearts.

There's also Byome/triad by Unfiltered Audio which can often be got for cheap and devious machine's Infiltrator 2 which is similar to Shaperbox but more expansive. And the newly released Nuro Audio multifx.

MXXX by Melda is extremely powerful but pricey.

Hi kraster,

yeah I was feeling the same way, even with the current discount I thought it lacked what the others I had could do..
ill leave off then.. i do have multipass, got it wrong... ;-)

Another vote for Infiltrator if you don't already have it. Also, not exactly the same genera but still in the broader multi-effect category is Filterverse. The new Sugarbytes Tranfigure looks interesting as well. These would definitely give you something different than Shaperbox or the khz bundle.

Unfortunately can't advise on BoomLibrary Enrage as I've not tried it. Seems expensive for what it is, unless you really need that kind of routing for sound design. Are you doing music or audio for games and film? Boom seems targeted at the latter, which would explain their pricing.

music billinder33,
experimental thats why this stuff sounds good to me.. but enrage is expensive even with the sale price but trialling i was not convinced..... ive most of the ones recommended except transfigure, $49 upgrade, though some latency issues by the sound of it..

Black Friday get the GAS going... :hihi:
