One quick tip that i find very important for the LFO and Sequencer section that some of you may not know, you can switch from Retrigger to other settings if your right click Retrigger. I use the First Input a lot when building big pads and using the Sequencer for duties. Really nice when you holding chords or Arps and you don't want the Sequencer to Retrigger every note press or Arp note.

Last year, during BF2024, I sent them a support request regarding this and asked what kind of invoice I would receive after purchase. No response.

The question is just whose "fault" is it... when a developer makes a lot of noise about planned features before and silently disappears more and more ...with just teasing and a lot of excuses ...leaving everybody in the dark with an uncertain future because of the copy protection alone, it´s I think no wonder that people show their "unhappiness".tumface wrote: Fri Nov 21, 2025 2:27 pm This thread is utterly toxic and I'd never read it or post it in again if I were the developer.
He has made his bed... now he must lie in it!
Look at Markus Krause from Tone2...
He was all the time honest about his situation and what the future will bring and everybody treats him with respect as far as I have seen.
In a world where you must fight about getting customers with a digital product which on top will stop working sooner or later when the company disappears, trust into the company is perhaps the most important weapon in your arsenal...
If Parawave has made one thing clear, it is that you cannot trust them in terms of the future.
Frustration and its consequences of a customer base left behind are only the logical result.
If you are the cause of it yourself, you can't just stand there and say, I'm not talking to them anymore, they're always so mean to me.
And if you look at the announcement before Easter week, many were still very polite and grateful to even just hear from him, welcomed him... actually more he could ask for or probably even deserved.

He's been treated so badly on KVR it gave him health issues, and he's tried to move away from providing support here.Trancit wrote: Fri Nov 21, 2025 2:48 pm Look at Markus Krause from Tone2...

This was just one time as his way of copy protection was exposed by R2R... he fought against that claim but people were a bit upset... I have no clue what´s the truth but I doubt KVR is/was the main reason for his health issues...tumface wrote: Fri Nov 21, 2025 3:27 pmHe's been treated so badly on KVR it gave him health issues, and he's tried to move away from providing support here.Trancit wrote: Fri Nov 21, 2025 2:48 pm Look at Markus Krause from Tone2...

Everything I read after he turned to the audience and announced there will be no further feature updates for his plugins because of some reasons was polite and best wishes... well some idiots will always troll but those are not taken serious and representing all others...

But seriously....if one is going to be in business then they need to have a thick skin and a solid spine as well. Take that from someone who taught customer service at the corporate level.
Never, ever forget who is putting food on whose table.
Some developers get a hard time because of their actions (or lack thereof). Others get respect because of their actions. Don't want grief? Then handle your business properly.

I wonder how much you all folks paid for Rapid to be so bitter? Must have been a couple of thousand bucks.

I don’t think it is inappropriate for a developer to be transparent. I purchased Rapid. I would think the Rapid team should provide owners their plan or say that they will no longer support their product. If Parawave is bankrupt they should be upfront about the situation. It isn’t bitterness, just basic customer service and simple honesty.
