I've tried a bunch, like scaler, klimper, instachord, cthulhu, instachord, chord prism and many more - none quite hit the spot for me. The thing that did hit the spot for me was in hardware: chordcat from alpha theta (fka pioneer dj).dasen wrote: Sat Nov 08, 2025 2:46 pm What 3rd party chord plugins with most user friendly workflow do you recommend?
Anything and everything about MIDI - arp, mapper, mangler, generator, chorder, controller, utility, fx etc.

Now with a bigger discount the Chord Board looks like a potential buy.
Now the three versions are: $89, $49, $29
https://www.pluginboutique.com/search?q ... Hand+Board
I am only interested in the Chord Board Pro + Hand Board.
Off ends on 11-10-25.
I still do not know if this is multi-touch capable.
To buy or not to buy.
Or wait and hopefully buy for less.
That is the question.

Chord Board

On sale at JRR

Use “GROUP’ for further discount.
Is doesn’t say if this is multi-touch capable.
I was not able to find a way to open an account to contact the developer.
This plugin reminds me of the guy at Avantgarde Sound that made the nChord.

Thanks OneOfManyPauls,
That exactly answered my question.
I have wondered why developers rarely mention if their plugins are multi-touch capable.

The Chord Board Pro + Hand Board requires Windows 11.
I am on V10 and not sure when will get to V11.
So all that excitement for nothing.

Just wanted to pop in, say 'Hi' and thanks for buying (and to slackhead for the kind words).Kalamata Kid wrote: Mon Nov 03, 2025 2:24 pm slackhead, thanks for the reminder.
I was excited about it so then I Bought it but due to the usual unforeseen events have found no time to install and play with it.
If you find the time a short review would be appreciated.
There's been a couple of videos this week on YouTube - one from The Sound Test Room (thanks, Doug!) - and one from S1gns of L1fe -
Really appreciate all the feedback, and I'm always listening to all suggestions / feedback via my website at www.higher-plane.uk (http://www.higher-plane.uk)
I've got a healthy suggestion list for v1.2 - right now I'm trying to adapt v1.1 for iOS / AUv3 and then will try and do a Max For Live version and then I'll get on with some new features

That looks super interesting. Streamdeck made my life much easier for many different things - CoyoteMIDI has just justified my buying a launchcontrol xl mk 3.Kalamata Kid wrote: Sat Nov 22, 2025 1:00 am Hey, an interesting thread:
