Fellow KVRock people,
If you listen to and/or produce Rock, Post-Rock, Alt-Rock, what songs do you use as reference for the bass frequencies of the mix? The low end?
What songs hit you with the appropriate levels of bass and drums and have a punchy low end?
I'm trying to collect a few songs for reference purposes that have an impactful low end as I've heard too many that seem a bit weedy and lacking in this department. So if you have any faves that you know sound legit in the bass register for the bass and drums, please list below. Thank you.
Your references for Rock, Post-Rock low-end mixes
