Regarding HZE pedals: I own 3 of them and also 3 of his other plugin (Geoforma, Grid and Symbiosis). I highly recommend Geoforma, which is a sample player with lots of different effects (bitcrusher, Reverb, delay, random pitch shifter etc). It came out before the pedal series and while you can dial in every effect it also offers a randomize button which does what it says and it fun to load a sample and hit that button until something nice is been generated.
All plugin run super stable on my M3 Max running Sequoia and Ableton 12 (latest and also 12.3 beta).
There will be a Black Friday sale starting in Nov 20th and also pedal series V2 will be released there. Looking forward to those, he has already some videos up on his YouTube channel and on insta for he new pedals which do look interesting.
proud to produce warezless!

In all honesty, I don't have a lot of confidence in them. I just looked to see what their looper pedal does, and they have a video of it posted. It's a silent video that I'm guessing is supposed to show some bug was fixed. Not what I'd call "best foot forward." The UIs look slick, but I'm unclear as to why you wouldn't just offer some sort of demo, like pretty much every other plugin developer. I understand why you wouldn't with a sample library, but for an effect plugin? There's no excuse not to.

I’m thinking synthedit or similar on those.

Well I guess I’ll pick up that neural amp sym, since it’s on sale.

So far I can't find anything in those that allow me to timestretch / and their micro looper like the Mood MK2. I'll check out Other Desert Cities + Aqueel Adam, i tested the sound ghost stuff too..

The Cherry Bliss stuff really is unique in terms of the micro looping going on.

The time module in Beam can definitely stretch.

I don’t think I’ve demoed that one yet. Maybe I’ll have a look at it. I’ve always thought that the Neural DSP stuff sounded great, but I found the closed nature of their plugins to be too limiting. I wish they’d do something more like Amplitube, where you have access to all their emulations in one place. Kind of a virtual Quad Cortex.

As long as there is no store in the thing, I don't have a pref, aside from HDD or cpu consumption. I do wish they would make stand alone plugins out of the effects, but that would probably be a double edged sword for them, so I won't hold my breath.

The actual ampsim part is fine imo, I could take it or leave it, tho I would have to say it's probably up my alley soundwise, since I am a high gain player chiefly.

I have to say that it is quite possibly one of the most obnoxious sounding amp sims I've ever encountered. If there's a high gain sound that I hate, it nails it. I mean, I love high gain, but this thing sounds like the speakers are made out of soda cans.

As for the granular effect? Meh. I mean, it's definitely good, but if you have Arturia's EFX FRAGMENTS, or Output's Portal, you already have this, more or less.

I think what I've discovered is, there is no Mood ITB, and maybe there doesn't need to be one, because there's so much more.

Heh, I didn't spend a lot of time with it, tho it sounded ok to me. Generally tho, I am not
a fan of their stuff. YMMV I guess.

Some of their stuff is great. Their SLO-100 emulation is one of the best, IMO. This... not for me, I guess.

I just got it today. Got lost in an hour of looping. Very nice. I should add that a serious (for me) missing feature is the ability to save the state in some way. A plugin preset system would be ideal. But barring that, it doesn't appear to be possible to save the state within your DAW. A work around is to route your Fase track to an audio clip and record that. That said, the controls are well thought out and very easy to control and get results. I really hope the developer continues to expand this.

I routed Rando into Fase, and then followed that with Beam. Pure heaven.
