It’s an interesting take on tone matching and something I may have to demo. It would be great if the video showed an example of how a reference track sounds compared to the target track before and after the reference profile is applied. Also, in the before/after comparisons, there’s a noticeable jump in loudness. Is that from the plugin and, if so, does it have an auto gain-matching feature?

You can find a demo version linked in the F.A.Q section of the page. Under the hood, the plugin matches mid and side curves and mid/side levels ratio to a target sound with some musical limits we’ve built in. So some changes in loudness might be accepted.

M/S matching is essential for proper, believable tone matching. The mid and side have completely different tonal roles and reference tracks rarely share the same M/S balance. Treating them independently leads to more transparent, mix-respectful results. You can test these with the demo provided.
