Stretching audio is exciting!

In this example, a toy rattle sample, from my [Patreon Reward pack 57] is stretched by 600% and pitched down by 18 semitones.

The unprocessed samples is heard (4.5 sec) first and then the stretched one (28 sec). The “exciting” speech sample heard at 00:19 is from Patreon Reward pack 58.

No other audio processing was used and the obvious tonal change in the stretched sample is only caused by the stretching and pitching down applied.
