Fearing that this is a nasty April Fools (Thanksgiving Fools?) joke, I googled Absynth 6. I didn't learn much, but now I'm getting hundreds of ads for bottles of absinthe. Be careful.

If NI is bringing old synths back, maybe that means they won't let Reaktor die either. Would be awesome.

Once ED didn't say it was fake news.. I personally take it as gospel that it will be and is real.

Wow. Talk about a surprise. So happy to hear that NI had second thoughts about letting Absynth disappear.

Zebra 3 and now Absynth 6, I’m the one who will be disappearing, going full hermit mode in the studio exploring these new synths

Such a great thing to see and very heartening to see NI reverse course on this. Gives one hope they can get back to innovating and not just slinging samples.

I'm not actually seeing a timeline on this anywhere - am I missing something? but it is exciting news for sure.

This + the survey I recently received for Massive X have me feeling more hopeful about NI. I love MX and Reaktor and use them in everything - not interested in the Play type instruments at all. Absinth I haven't used since v4 but VERY interested to see what will be available in a potential v6
