Anyone properly reading the initial post would have seen that it stated that this was a request for a forum for discussion of video tools et.c., not for somewhere to post videos.havran wrote: Fri Nov 28, 2025 8:34 am No, because people could just post links to videos hosted elsewhere.
That post, and the thread subject, have been updated to address that kind of mischaracterisation of the purpose of the thread.

but as has been pointed out, it's a discussion forum, for video tools.

On the other hand, it's up to the messenger to deliver the message clearly.whyterabbyt wrote: Fri Nov 28, 2025 10:40 amAnyone properly reading the initial post would have seen that it stated that this was a request for a forum for discussion of video tools et.c., not for somewhere to post videos.havran wrote: Fri Nov 28, 2025 8:34 am No, because people could just post links to videos hosted elsewhere.

Sorry for my misreading and thank you for the clarification and revision.

yet another new VS preset pack released. they're certainly knocking them out quickly at the moment.
65 handcrafted presets with glitch and grunge texture-driven aesthetics
13 new shaders

Indeed. I think all the content released since V2 came out does.
There's a new update as well by the look of it, v 2.04.

Still haven’t had more than a few minutes to explore VS2 but I really hope to have some time this weekend.
Now that I can confidently stream in 1080p, I got a Blackmagic ATEM Mini Pro, so that I can have more than one camera going into the stream. I hope to have a three camera setup and maybe some visuals for the house party stream on the 27th.

I'm finally getting into VS2, it's a huge step up from V1. I've made a bunch of patches already for future videos.
I'm having trouble with the plug-in version in DAWs under MacOS, where I can't select a camera input. The problem doesn't happen with the standalone version.
I think it's related to camera permissions. When I opened the standalone version for the first time, it asked me to give the app permission to access the camera. When I load the plug-in, I suspect that the host needs to request permission to access the camera but none of the DAWs I've tried (Bitwig, Logic, Studio One, Reaper, Cubase, etc) do that and there is no option to add an application to the camera permissions manually.
Anyone else run into this? I can use the standalone version but I'd rather use it in Bitwig, which allows me to use macros and additional modulators.

load your patches up to play one after the other, to a timer?
im going to start using it to measure time, then when my image changes, i know where im up to in my tracks, to get a set together for actual gigs, where i have a time limit!
cant help with the other sirry, havent opened a daw for a long time
