I was happy to be able to use paid plugs this time, I'm sure it it really didn't change the outcome at all. Kontrast was pretty great for soundscapes, but I had a hard time getting some more "typical" sounds out of it.

Composition, Production, Sound Design done by myself.
2 Patches based on Preset, but modified.
(The melody patch is based on TSOMs great Duduking preset, but with added noise and roughness)

Only The Speech sound uses a self recorded sample that is linearly played, the sound is still strongly modified by Kontrast.

This track started out as something approximating a melody bashed out on the Exquis. The chords were derived from that and here we are. This month was the turn of Tracktion Waveform Pro 13 and only eight instances of Kontrast. It's easy to produce harmonically rich patches with this synth so that seems to have kept the track count down. The percussion was done with a single patch using the sequencer. Kontrast comes with usual extensive collection of effects built in so only the following external plugins were used:

- the usual Clip to Zero combo of dpMeter5, Blue Cat Gain3 and KClip3
- Hornet ZeroEQ: giving this a shot to see how it performs
- Hornet ZeroComp as above
- bx_masterdesk Pro
- iZotope Tonal Balance
- Master the Mix Levels

Wavetables were generated from Taron's brilliant Wavetabling and the Gimp. I used a few of the factory wavetables too. All patches from init although some of them were started with the randomizer.

Using 11 instances of Kontrast in Mulab 10
All sounds created from scratch. Wavetables used are Init and some factory ones.

DAW Fx: Limiter, EQ. (on Master channel only)
Third Party Fx: OTT (just a touch on the master channel)
All other Fx are In-Synth.

I played a lot with imported images samples and wavetables but none of these ended up in the final submission.
Good to be back with an entry after a long hiatus, even if it's only half an idea
