I’ve created a new free DecentSampler instrument called Jingle Bells Pad — a Christmas-themed sound with an unexpected twist.

Trailer / Audio Demos:

THE STORY
I wanted to make a holiday-inspired instrument, but instead of another traditional bell sample pack, I tried something different. I recorded jingle bells and tambourine shakes, processed them with long reverb and careful EQ, and transformed them into a warm, magical pad.

Even though the idea started as a Christmas project, the final sound works surprisingly well across many genres. It has a mystical, fantasy-like character that fits cinematic scoring, ambient music, chillout, and other atmospheric styles.

VISUAL DESIGN
I also designed all of the graphics myself. I’ve been searching for a unique visual identity for my instruments, and with Jingle Bells Pad I feel like I finally landed on something distinct.
Instead of typical hardware-style knobs, the interface uses a visual concept that — as far as I know — hasn’t been used anywhere else.

Thanks, I think it has quite nice texture instead of just steady notes.
