Thanks for the tip! I actually used to use this a while back, and then they updated it (I think it was when they changed from Studio Rack to Studioverse) and I liked it significantly less. It was clunkier, more difficult to use, full of "ads" to try and push their custom plugin chains using Waves plugins, etc.qtheerearranger wrote: Tue Dec 02, 2025 4:32 amwaves studioverse and i believe its free iirc has both multiband split and parallel split. can set each split up as mid, side, left, and right channels in addition.concealed identity wrote: Fri Nov 14, 2025 11:27 am Is there an easy way in Cubase to apply an effect to only part of the frequency spectrum? I think that is something that would be cool to see in a future version (I think I've heard people say this is really easy in Bitwig?). This was a regular part of my flow when I used Reason many years ago, but I don't do it as often in Cubase- usually using a bunch of sends/extra channels and filters. I feel like there's probably a more intuitive way already, but it would be cool to have something built into the interface to do this easily, or an insert that could split the frequency and load other plugins (I know Waves had a plugin like this, but every time they updated it, it got worse).
I should probably give it another try now that it's been a while, but that update really turned me off. I would love to just have this as a part of Cubase itself, but we can't have everything we want, can we?
