If I ever switched from Studio One, it would be to Universal Audio LUNA, which has free updates for life, because it is free.

It's free now. Doesn't mean it will always be free.
I get the feeling it's in open beta testing now. When it matures, I feel like they might start charging for it.

Luna pro is not free, I think they will keep it that way in the feasible future, maybe increasing the difference between the two to make paying for the pro more attractive

luna is kool but it's pretty limited compared to studio ones

In software developer time, "soon" means 3 to 4 months, and "imminent" means 3 to 4 weeks.

We are most definitely looking into early 2026 for the next release. Presonus is not going to drop something substantial this close to the holiday season.

Too much noise (marketing wise) and key resourcing will start heading for the exits for the Christmas break soon...

If so, then fine with me. After the lackluster 2025 I can imagine spending money on a “competitive crossgrade” in 2026. Time will tell…

Now it look like Presonus/Fender just came in another day late and a dollar short for getting the "Fender" stuff into Studio One.

Just walking thru the videos now - and wow.

This is about as good as it gets for Fender amps - outside of having the Fender logo on them OR plugging into the real thing.

If I am gonna use an amp sim - may as well have UA on the case...
