The problem with things like that is that without a dry/wet comparison, we have little idea what the effects are doing.

Is it doing what you were looking to get from Mood? I got Beam and Halo Effect, and, as cool as they are, they don’t do it.

I still reckon Lunacy Beam stacks up for an all in one type effect. Not the same as the Mood... could do with a looper, but very cool none the less

No, not at all, really. It’s a different thing, but similar in the sense of generating trippy loop effects. What I did with MXXX was much closer, and if I spent more time with it, I bet I could get pretty close to a 1:1 representation, at least in terms of features. I need to spend more time with the MOOD manual and figure out how to get the routing right in MXXX.

Beam is lacking what they all lack: global clock modulation. That’s the special sauce of MOOD, IMO. Beam doesn’t have any rate reduction at all, unless the new module has it. I don’t own that one. I faked it in MXXX with the Reducer module, but it didn’t work the same way. I’d have to set up a macro to do that. Same with BYOME.

We should really change the name of this thread to, “Granular FSU Effects,” because an actual MOOD plugin hasn’t been released. I think it absolutely could, it just hasn’t.
