Just saw the intro price is gone; before the free version is available. Smooth.

It was pre-order pricing which we left open from the time we opened mostly for pre-orderers' access last week and ended today with the official launch.Cuauhtli wrote: Wed Nov 19, 2025 2:31 am Just saw the intro price is gone; before the free version is available. Smooth.
The pricing was never going to be lowered when a free version was out, this is not uncommon (offering better pricing for those who have faith and preorder) for preorders.

Well, some of us need to see if it will run on our current pc. At least now there's no hurry to buy it.

Peter, can you please explain the function difference, Std vs Max:
* 10 model generations: What does that mean? 10 model generation attempts, so 10 failed attempts and you got basically nothing to use, or 10 models you decided to accept and they become part of your library? Meaning you can do 100 attempts, and then choose the 10 you actually like?
* After I added 10 models, can I remove one and make a new model and still have 10 available?
* Limited imports: I suppose this refers to RVC imports. What is the limitation? Number of RVC models you can add to your library in total, or the number of RVC models you can access in your library? Meaning I can add to the limit, remove one RVC model and add another?
None of these questions are on the FAQ and are not described anywhere. Thx.

It is 10 total. If you could delete them and add more it would technically be unlimited.RikkShow wrote: Thu Nov 20, 2025 11:00 amPeter, can you please explain the function difference, Std vs Max:

The ReSing web page https://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/resing has a comparison chart and explanation of what is included in each version. It specifies RVC imports and ReSing imports. There's a Compare Versions button right under that chart that goes into even more detail.

Is there any development direction towards better handling of when singers just vocalise with oohs/aahs/mmms rather than actually singe ? Because currently that doesn't work well at all.
I realise that there may be constraints based upon what RVC provides, but equally it's the sort of thing that I would expect IK - being a 'music' company - to enhance their product with, as it's far more likely to be wanted.
Overall, I think ReSing is better than the other commercial offerings right now (I'll ignore Open Source, as that lacks the ease of use), but it really could be better catering for the musician rather than just generic 'voice' expectations. The controls are good and the blend is a really nice idea, but if I can't just hum a tune and it replicate that with a different voice, it's far less useful right now.

I looked all of this over, and from what I can see and understand, all this software does is change your voice to sound like another voice. You still have to do the initial singing, right? Am I missing something here?

(Also: I'm Accused of lying about Linux—it boots, runs my pro audio workflow, stays stable, updates--though yearly dismissed as “niche”. Yet I'm the deluded one.)

You should see a Try/Buy entry in your IK PM like this:seangm wrote: Thu Jan 15, 2026 4:05 pmThanks for the free version. On page the you linked it says:Peter - IK Multimedia wrote: Thu Jan 15, 2026 3:46 pm New ReSing Free version and first expansion pack with new voices
"ReSing Free is available via the IK Product Manager."
In the IK PM there is a "ReSing Trial" but I don't see anything labeled a "free version" of ReSing. So is the "ReSing Trial" how we use the free version? Thanks.

Once you click to try, it will show the ReSing Free version for you to authorize and that does not expire.
