Just some basic questions.
1. Does this have a vst3 version?
2. Does it run in Cubase?
3. Is there some kind of users manual to learn how to program this thing?
4. Do I need anything special to run this?
As much as I have been into modular synthesis my whole life, this is a totally radical departure from anything I've ever had so I want to know what I'm in for before I dive in.
Thanks for any info you can give me.

1. Yes, it ships with two VST3 plugins: an instrument plugin and an effect plugin.wagtunes wrote: Tue Dec 02, 2025 8:25 pm Just some basic questions.

2. I test it in Cubase regularly, though admittedly I am not a Cubase power user.
3. Yeah! Check out the PDF manual if you like reading: https://anukari.com/support/user-manual, or the video manual: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=P ... PJ1853Fybs
4. Nothing special is required, except maybe a basic graphics card, but even if you have integrated graphics you are probably just fine.
If you are still uncertain, definitely try out the free demo: https://anukari.com/try-for-free. You don't even need to provide an email, and you can try all the features (it just does white noise once in a while). And of course I'm happy to answer more questions!

Thanks. I really appreciate your help. This looks like it could be a lot of fun once I get the hang of it.anukari-music wrote: Tue Dec 02, 2025 8:36 pm1. Okay, watched the video. What it didn't answer, the PDF did. I'm probably going to pick this up after dinner. It's similar enough to modular synthesis that I shouldn't have any problems.
I might come back here and post some audio examples of patches I created if that's okay. Maybe along with a visual of the patch itself.

I look forward to seeing what you do with it! Let me know if you run into any issues. It's still in Beta, but hopefully not for much longer.wagtunes wrote: Tue Dec 02, 2025 10:09 pm Okay, watched the video. What it didn't answer, the PDF did. I do have one question. Something puzzled me when I bought this. You already had my credit card info, email and everything. The checkout looked familiar from a recent purchase but it looks like you only have one product. So do you have a sister company that sells something else or another site? This is a real puzzle to me.anukari-music wrote: Tue Dec 02, 2025 10:11 pmI look forward to seeing what you do with it! Let me know if you run into any issues. Elsewhere, I'm trying to reverse engineer some of these patches because, quite honestly, starting from scratch, I can't get a sound out of anything. So there must be a minimum number of modules that need to be put together in a certain way to get sound. I just haven't figured it out yet.
Modular synthesis is easy. This? Not so much. LOL

Regarding the credit card and email, I'm using Shopify for checkouts, which is a very popular platform right now. Many websites that ship physical goods use Shopify, so I'm guessing that Shopify remembered your info from a prior transaction. (I think you have to check a box for that to happen?) The nice thing is that I never see your credit card number at all, so you don't have to trust me with that info.wagtunes wrote: Wed Dec 03, 2025 12:41 am I do have one question. There's a video for the "creating a preset from scratch" question: . I think you just need the first 5 minutes to get the basics of what's required for sound output. It's not too difficult, it's just very different!

I just heard of this and just bought it to be sure I didn't miss the sale and I really like these kinds of innovative products. I read the complete thread and just to be sure you're saying the audio is done on the GPU? Ok, how much % of CPU vs GPU you're using. Also I saw you're optimizing as much as possible for the Apple M chip but there's no talk aout GPU on PC. What kind of optimization you have for nvidia GPU? I have a 4080 super which is a very good GPU, is there any specific optimization?

The audio was at one time 99% done on the GPU, but that is no longer the case, all the audio is on the CPU now (though the GPU still gets used for the graphics obviously). That's a very long story which I've written about extensively here (very technical!): https://anukari.com/blog/devlog/archive.
Rest assured that it's optimized very heavily for both Mac and PC, and more optimization is coming on both.
