OK, I'm now the proud owner of both MiniRaze and Waverazor. I've already used the former in one of my latest productions. Love the aggressive sound!

But, a couple of things I'd really like to see:

1. Very clear, simple, fast tutorials that explain how to make basic, typical synth sounds from scratch. With Waverazor just now, trying to figure out how to just get an envelope to control filter cutoff has taken me way longer than I would've liked. If we can somehow learn the basics very quickly, the more advanced stuff should come quickly after.

2. MIDI Learn! The traditional, industry-standard MIDI learn that does not rely on the DAW's automation. This is an incredible instrument, but binding controls in e.g. Cubase could be much, much faster. Please just stick to the typical right-click MIDI Learn/Forget context menus that work so well in so many other, existing soft synths.

I'm shocked at how cool these products can sound and how they can aggressively assert themselves in a dense mix. I'm glad I own them. But I'm made impatient by the learning curve and lack of decent tutorials. Fabfilter-style tooltips or a manual that's tied intimately to the plugin somehow would also help quite a bit.

Thanks for listening!

Thanks for the kind words and feedback.

1. With Waverazor, everything is rather modular in nature, with nothing hardwired, it can be a really PITA to do stuff... I know this, as I also write patches in it, and find it cumbersome... at the same time, I often find myself being very happy that I can do the oddest things... but with Waverazor, the ability to do the most esoteric stuff ended up making the simple stuff also cumbersome by nature. It's been on my mind to continue to improve this, but haven't yet concluded if some simple improvements, or a full re-think is in order.

In the meantime, the general idea to Envelopes controlling a Filter Cutoff:
1. In MODS / Voice Mods : Add : Envelope ADSR
2. In MATRIX / Voice Matrix : Add : 1xN route
3. In the new matrix route, you can choose your Envelope ADSR as a source, and your Filter as the Target, and set the amount you want to control the envelope.

One things that really speeds things up is using the Focus button (that little edit button on the top right of every entry in the matrix), so if you focus that Matrix Route, you should see your envelope on the Left Column, and the Filter on the Right Column, so you can make adjustments to everything, or use the Focus buttons on the LFO and Filter to jump between which one has the Center focus.

And yeah, all that writing clearly suggests tutorials are in order ;) Agreed.

Regarding Item 2. We have had a couple of requests for MIDI Learn, and I am certainly open to looking into that.... I might suggest starting a thread for that feature, in case there are others that want to chime in. Also, if you are talking about MIDI Learn being added to what is currently available in the Automation Control list, that probably isn't a super big job... however, if you are thinking of Waverazor editor controls, or something else, please clarify, so that I am not missing the point.

Again, thanks for the feedback and kind words about Miniraze and Waverazor
