"Sotto Voce": The title is Italian and means 'Under the voice'. It is a soulful piano
song that flows hesitantly, fragilely, in a melancholic and almost awestruck way.
By repeating and varying the motif, the song gains structure and meaning - in the
classic way.
I don't find the video for this song quite fitting, as it comes across as rather intrusive
and pushy. Is that intentional?
The song, however – the piano performance – is fantastic. You've musically staged a
lovingly fragile composition beautifully.
