Suggestions for Triaz 2:
1. sequencer with tie capability on steps;
2. sequencer with pan tab, or motion 2 tab (12 slots in the current motion tab for 12 drums end soon)
3. sequencer with accent support;
4. dot in the ABC triangular mixer: XY automation-friendly (I mean, Zynaptiq Morph, or Output Portal, when in my DAW I choose to write automation and click and drag their dot around in a x-y GUI, 2 automation tracks appear in the DAW and write X-Y motions. This doesn't happen with Triaz)
5. Pattern banks library, capability to save/load pattern banks without drums, hence development of specialized sets of 12 pattern banks in specific genres for sale in midi format -although very specific midi, with all the sequencer tabs written in it - I would buy, think EZDrummer with 45000 loops.
6. Forum on the Wave Alchemy website
Do other users feel the same?
Do you know if staff from Wave Alchemy sometimes read these posts?
When will Revolution be released native? I am currently resisting at not buying alternatives... the same engine then might load a percussion library, low (conga, bongos, tabla) and high (agogos, caxixi, shakers, tamburines), for which the 3 samples in Triaz might be short.
Cheers

You are making Wave Alchemy sound like a huge multinational corporation with layers upon layers of development staff, technical management and everything else a very large company would employ.fcarosone wrote: Sat Dec 06, 2025 6:29 pm Do you know if staff from Wave Alchemy sometimes read these posts? WA is very small developer with a very tight staff that needs a lot of time to get things right. There is only so much time in the day and only so much a small staff can do at any given time.
And I will assume that they are not making millions each month via software sales either.
You might consider dialling back the "I want" list (like building and maintaining a full user forum via their website) and be happy that we have - what we have now.
WA will continue to shine - but on their timetable.
Patience is the best investment you can make in yourself when it comes to these guys.

Can we frame this, and make t-shirts and banners for it? It should be the standard response for the hordes of insufferable KVR users, who proudly state how much better they know what a plugin need than the developer.Vocalpoint Studios wrote: Sat Dec 06, 2025 8:12 pm You might consider dialling back the "I want" list

I have very little issue with Triaz in its current state.
My main gripe was copying user samples to the Triaz folder but I get around that using symbolic links.
Apart from that as a step sequencer/sample based drum machine it gets a lot of use.
The expansions are fantastic. Tons of content.

Triaz is my go to; closest I've had to an elektron p-lock workflow within the DAW. In fact it is even better than Elektron in one regard that I can visualize all my tracks at the same time. I have every expansion pack (yep good value there) and more from WA. I've tried dozens of other sequencers and triaz has the best flow for me (beat scholar is great but I just like that for the beat authoring of all sorts of crazy timings, and using it as a learning aid for practicing rhythm)
I don't think suggestions I've read here (fcarasone) are totally out of line; I would like to see WA continue with improvement seeing so many plugins die on the vine over the years. I support them hopefully through buying more packs and my hope is that this "contract" will encourage them to evolve the product to incremental better/modern workflow as some of these suggestions allude to

Because of the ongoing cries for updates, this dropped
Version 1.2.0 (release date: December 10th 2025)
Added new audio filters to the Drum Layers Filter section (SVF4, Silk, Grit, Scream, Distorted)
Added audio filters to the Channel FX page (SVF4, Silk, Grit, Scream, Distorted)
Added 'Crunch' and 'Punch' tape saturation modes to the Channel FX Drive parameter pop-up
Added 4-band EQ to the Channel FX page
Added Random XY pad control to the 'Slop' parameter pop-up menu
Added new logic for importing and using user samples / sample packs. Imported samples no longer need to be placed / duplicated in Triaz / User Samples
Added new 'Randomize Pool' page. Now you can randomize drums from any expansion/s or imported user sample folders
Added sequencer step reordering feature
Added drum type filter to preset browser. Now you can mute / solo specific drums / melodics whilst previewing and loading presets
Fixed audio export timing issue present in some DAWs
General stability enhancements

Seems we should sell our Elektron gear quickly, no longer needed...dermage wrote: Thu Dec 11, 2025 1:43 pm Because of the ongoing cries for updates, this dropped![]()

The new update seems to have changed the GUI/skin a bit.
My #1 feature request is still to have a smaller font in the sample selector, to get more samples listed.
I work on 1440 resolution and 150% scaling, the font is quite big, but the amount of samples is very limited. I hope WA can add changing the font size or font scaling in the browser, to have more samples listed without having to scroll.
Otherwise the new GUI looks great.

Wow this is a great update!
I was always a bit bothered by the standard filter, because it seemed to always have some resonance.
Now with the update, I noticed that it still shows me at least a value of 0.3 resonance, even when I go fully down. Strangely, it stays for 0.3 for some way of knob rotation, so probably this is a bug?

Great Update! Though while installing on mac os i had to choose 2 plugin-formats. usually I only install audiounits. If I deselected vst and tried to deselect aax, vst was selected again. the same if vst was deselected, aax was selected again. also tried with deselecting au… the same. never experienced something like this before. am I the only one?

Huge update. I was happy with Triaz before, but now it's even better than perfect - especially import and randomize stuff is useful.
(The only negative point about this company - they don't send emails to me
. Some companies send me 3 emails per day, but not WA. I want to be informed about their sales and updates and new products. This update is not even stated on their website.)

Nice update. They don't seem to have updated the manual which would have been nice to learn about new featues, particularly user sample handling. I guess there will be a youtube video in due course though.
