dune_rave wrote: Thu Nov 27, 2025 1:01 am So when Absynth6 will be released , i will be able to layer Zebra3 and Omni3 + all my other synths in Unify2. Why the hell would i need Absynth6 anymore?
Absynth is not replaceable by those synths, not even hardly. Not knowing this but posting here is just a form of shitposting.
Mean but correct.
lol, why trying to show the not-liking stance all the time? :D even if you can, then it is good, you dont need to proof anything or do you?

for me Absynth has a very distinctive sound, maybe all its elements can be reproducable, I am no synth prob in that regard but I always got sounds out of Absynth I cannot imagine how to re-create them in other synths or would be a just different workflow and annoying.
especially the crazy Mutation gives such great inspirational sounds!

machinesworking wrote: Sun Dec 07, 2025 6:08 amI have never witnessed a plugin developer drop the ball as hard and as permanently as AAS have with String Studio, it still does not do MPE. Guess what does though? the old version of String Studio tech AAS licensed to Ableton for Live as Tension. :dog:

So far only their new modular synth does MPE, because F*ck you, that's why. :bang:
I only use Chromaphone now. The rest is "Absent" (to be on topic :hihi: )
There are better options for everything AAS makes. I don't even bother with them these days. As a developer, they are dead to me.
That I probably don't have except Objekt which is great

This is the wrong synth for that.
Disagree. It certainly would be a useful addition, and why not?
A well-behaved signature.

It’s a bit of a stretch to conflate people’s wish list features with people who are frustrated.

vurt is wise and thus endeth The Complainting until New Improved Cool Thing drops.

True though that may be, the following is a relevant point:

It’s a bit of a stretch to conflate
1)people’s wish list features with,
2)people who are frustrated.
Indeed, but perhaps just 'a bit' when much of the frustration expressed relates to (2) things that have not been fixed/resolved with a previous version or similar product, particularly if a great deal of time has elapsed with a well documented performance or functional issue, versus (1) "I hope it has/does/allows/can do 'X'.

I'm guessing it's going to be the Pro-53.

So, 7AM local time for me. Usually when I get up.

Great guess. I think it's going to be Generator. Screenshot of Absynth 6 ad in the magazine be damned!

No way. It's gonna be the long-awaited Bandstand 2.

In the address I posted the link for, it says Weird by Design. Is that just for this promotion, or is that something NI uses now and then?
