Nice, I've got the day off tomorrow and it's dropping 6AM local seattle time so before I wake up! I really hope they don't screw us on the upgrade with some above $100 cash grab, because I would probably bite anyway. With Zebra 3 coming out in a couple months here looks to be a good year for solid upgrades to my favorite two softsynths from a decade ago, my guess to take their places at the top again.

There's going to be a lot of second hand Absynth 6 upgrades on the market when Komplete 16 is released! I doubt there will be any buyers by then!

I wonder if I'll be able to amuse myself with the demo until the next upgrade.

It’s a bit of a stretch to conflate people’s wish list features with people who are frustrated.

Seems more a general observation to me. I'd guess there are more instances of "Absynth needs better filters" than people commenting here from knowing the thing. CF: one knock down/drag out fight here re the DX7 would have been a far better synth having filters. I've countless hours with it and never had that thought. coming from a similar amount of time with a Minimoog and nowt else.
