I like it better than 5, but the betas are still a bit funky for me. At least through b6. Just installed b7 so hoping more kinks keep getting hammered out. Massive improvement over the first beta though.

Best - Klanghelm TENS.

Worst - TOMO Lisa. Love the sound but it's so needlessly cluttered.

I use Ableton

At least all frequency-related knobs are in a strait line, and so fairly common sense layout. Unlike PA's Natalus DSCEQ that I demoed this weekend (and disliked regardless of the GUI because everything it touched sounded worse).

I miss the csound gui where you just open up a text file in notepad and have all the columns. I think the bigest mistake in gui's is that you cannot have help files like they did in jeskola buzz... how did we go backwards in tech and end up with a bunch of plugins that don't have instructions. I have a bunch of rust code right now that might not compile that would allow opening up a text files and play a drum tab file..

I got this today, animated even... I like it heh.

Tho some alternatives to Kyle would be nice, not sure what they have against Kyle.

Definitely Melda plugins. The UI and usability are "sigh.." at best but there's just way too many amazing effects processors and synthesizers in that package that I can suffer through the UI.

Respect to you. I couldn’t get over it. UX/GUI combo that gets in the way will just have me hating using it. Thus I will not. And that’s a shame for some plugs where the sound is simply amazing.

It is worth trying to stick with it. The UI and usability (shortcuts, the way the mouse behaves etc) is consistent and sort of makes sense for the most part, but it is completely unorthodox and doesn't follow norms. Once you do get used to it, there are no real shop stoppers.. no downright workflow killers. It's just the initial step to get through the mess is such a frustrating experience.

They really need to update all the UIs, but the product suite is so large it's probably infeasible.

I just got MTurboReverb, and MTurboDelay. Insane amounts of configurability, but the UIs are so crazy I basically only preset hunt with them and do minor tweaks after finding a preset that fits. Who actually wants to write code just to configure a reverb? I also wish the MTurboDelay interfaces were a bit more consistent like the ones in MTurboReverb.

Both very nice plugins though. My go-to reverb and delay 'rompers'.
