Interesting, I'll take a look. Appreciate it.zerocrossing wrote: Tue Dec 09, 2025 3:16 amIf you don't have Bitwig and FL doesn't have a feedback effects slot in its delay, you can use Blue Cat's Late Replies. It's an 8 tap delay and each delay has slots for built in effects (including a comb filter) which can also host plugins.jtsterays wrote: Tue Dec 09, 2025 1:25 amNah I don't use Bitwig, FL doesn't have a proper resonator, I'm just after that part.zerocrossing wrote: Tue Dec 09, 2025 12:32 amWhat's your DAW? If you have Bitwig, you can get that kind of thing by putting a resonator in the FB FX slot of one of it's delay devices.jtsterays wrote: Sun Dec 07, 2025 5:31 pmCould you recommend alternatives to Objeq delay? Looks cool to me, Absynth lives on. The people already complaining before trying it out were likely going to complain no matter what.

I hope it will have NFTs and AI. You can't make music without AI in 2025.

I think they missed the point if for them the AI browser is the "thing" come on....
Here we go, imo:
- Totally revamped UX making it smooth and not cryptic to work with, gone are those weird up/down ticks and things have proper knobs/sliders
- Design itself is fresh and brought to modern look
- New improved ladder filter
- Improved HQ mode in cloud
- Improved envelope workflow
- Revamped macro system which actually makes sense to work with now
- MPE and PolyAT
- VST3, ARM and future-proofing
- TONS of new samples including finally a lot of looping samples, amazing as oscs
- TONS of new amazing presets
- GUI resize
- AI Browser
new filter
improved sampler library, looks like a lot easier to load your own in etc.
MPE
GUI improvements
preset browsing hopefully works with up/down arrows so I can avoid loading it into Komplete Kontrol, but the cloud idea is pretty cool really
new Macro capabilities
Would have appreciated some leftover alien bog design elements from before, but in general it's laid out well. Slightly worried about the envelopes but likely that's unmerited.
The article is pretty bad, Absynth has had surround sound forever.

I agree with earlier messages that after the release of Absynth 6 that a new thread be started.
"Absynth 6 Release" ? or something more inviting.

"...new sounds from Brian Eno, Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith and Richard Devine."
If it's good enough for Brian Eno, it's good enough for me.

In regard to that GearNews article, I wouldn't invest too much energy into it. The integrity of audio software journalism (if you can even call it that) was sketchy at best when I began to write for BedroomProducersBlog 10 years ago, and things have gotten SO much worse since then. These articles are often written by people who spent maybe 20 minutes with the plugin, if that. The frequency of inaccurate or just flat out false reporting has gotten really bad, and, with exception of a FEW trusted sources, no one is holding these "journalists" to any standard of accuracy. Don't get me wrong, the GearNews article is probably fine, but I'm highly skeptical of most online publications and demo software myself before deciding that I have an opinion about it.

Let's f*cking go!!! https://www.native-instruments.com/en/p ... absynth-6/
Edit: not all links on the website are fully working yet since the official launch is still a couple hours away. My guess is 6 pm CEST.

If you leave the preset explorer mode the standard browser does work with up down arrows to preview the sound, then enter to load itmachinesworking wrote: Tue Dec 09, 2025 6:44 amPretty much every box I ticked:faxinadu wrote: Tue Dec 09, 2025 5:53 am

Eh? Komplete 16 isn't even out yet. I guess that'll be Autumn 26, so waiting for half price upgrades will take you to summer 27. That's a long time for Absynth fans to hold out.planet_b wrote: Tue Dec 09, 2025 9:03 am Komplete 16 update sales on next year's Summer of Sound are going to be great
So £89 Absynth upgrade. They may do a half price on the synth alone next year though I guess.
Great video teaser imo.
