[Update] Smackbox V2 - v1.0.1 Released (Presets Fix & Workflow Improvements)

Hey everyone,

I've just pushed a small but significant update to Smackbox V2! Version 1.0.1 is now available.

This update focuses on polishing the workflow and fixing a few pesky installation issues reported by users.

Changes in v1.0.1:

• FIXED: Factory Presets: We've completely overhauled how presets are handled. They are now embedded directly into the plugin and will automatically extract to your user folder (~/Music/Smackbox V2/Presets) on first launch. This solves the "missing presets" issue on macOS and Linux.
• NEW: Auto-Sample Switching: When you load or drag a sample onto a pad, the oscillator type now automatically switches to "Sample" mode, so you hear your sound immediately.
• NEW: Window Size Memory: The plugin now remembers its window size per-instance. If you resize a specific instance in your project, it will recall that size next time you open the session.
• UI Polish: Added clear LP / BP / HP / BR labels to the Filter Type knob so you know exactly which mode you're morphing into.

The update is available now. As always, feedback is welcome!

will there be more than 3 individual outputs at the same time, in the best case all for all 12 voices?
Btw in Studio One 7 on Windows the clap version cannot handle the existing individual outputs.

Thank you! Depends on how needed such a feature is, I guess. I usually do fine with just one or two outputs but people produce music with different methods and styles

How is the multiout usually handled in Studio One? For instance in Bitwig I have to go here:

And click the "add missing chains" button.

The deb package needs some love
VST3 bundle is in /home/runner/.vst3/ instead of /usr/lib/vst3 and there is a single library /usr/lib/vst3/Smackbox V2.so
Also you added the whole JUCE in package. If you really want to use make install and use smth like add_subdirectory(JUCE) then it should be add_subdirectory(JUCE EXCLUDE_FROM_ALL)

VST3 bundle is in /home/runner/.vst3/ instead of /usr/lib/vst3 and there is a single library /usr/lib/vst3/Smackbox V2.so

If the outputs in clap format are once enabled and then disabled for whatever a reason, they become to be greyed out and cannot be activated any more.

That's odd, something with Lemonsqueezy then! Would you mind sending me a PM with more info (postcode, country etc)? (other's have been able to make a purchase!)

edit: I actually got the same when I fill the postcode FIRST, but if I fill out the form top->bottom it works.
