Hey guys,
I'm in the market for a new PC, unfortunately looks like I'll be having to get a Windows 11 system. I'm counting on a lot of my legacy software NOT working on Windows 11, so here's my question: Does VSL's Vienna Instruments work well with Windows 11 (or does it work at all)? I'm talking about the older classic VSL engine/interface from about 2015. Thanks guys, let me know.

Create a System Image of your current Windows 10 :
- Get this https://www.majorgeeks.com/files/detail ... winpe.html
- Create a bootable USB flash drive.
- Boot to the USB flash drive
- Go to Programs WinPE>BACKUP AND RESTORE>Macrium Reflect 10
- Create an image of your current bootable drive. (will need a big enough destination drive to save the image)
- Install Window 11 and verify what will work or not...
IF you are not satisfied with Windows 11, use Macrium Reflec to restore your previous Windows 10.
Why use Macrium? Because it is 100% guarantee it will restore the previous Windows!
Another option is to install Windows 11 into a spare drive.
Lots of old stuff do work in Windows 11 and you can try the Compatibility Mode for the stand alone stuff.
BTW, I recommend you to install a de-bloated Windows 11

A less worrisome move will be to just upgrade Vienna Instruments to the Pro version. 11 years ago or that I think they charged for it but for some time this is the version, there's no charge. It's the same interface with a few more features you don't even have to look at. It's for certain going to work on any operating system released by the end of last year.
