We got Serum 2, Omnisphere 3, Absynth 6, Zebra 3, Falcon 2026. Even Massive X got updated. I probably forgot things too. Pigments 6 and Current 2 were this year, I think.

How many of those do you "own", swillow11?
(zero for me)
EDIT: I realize my "Monster Sampler", Renoise Redux, got a nice upgrade to vst3 this year.
Oh yeah, midi out!

I think it was released last year, but it should count anyway.Living Room Rocker wrote: Sun Dec 14, 2025 9:19 pmHi swilow11,swilow11 wrote: Sun Dec 14, 2025 8:57 pm We got Serum 2, Omnisphere 3, Absynth 6, Zebra 3, Falcon 2026. I know you’re aiming for the heavyweights, but for me the real standout is Fors Pivot. It’s not a megasynth at all. More like a small, precise diamond that quietly outshines a lot of the bigger machines. Pivot strips FM down to what actually matters and somehow makes it feel inspiring instead of technical. It ended up replacing several of my go-to synths simply because it delivers character, focus and a workflow that never gets in the way.
Its over for Bitwig--CUBASE WON !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have had so much fun with Fors Tela - physical modelling is more interesting for me than FM, although I have made some nice patches in Pivot too. I agree minimalist synths can be so inspiring.enCiphered wrote: Sun Dec 14, 2025 9:50 pm I know you’re aiming for the heavyweights, but for me the real standout is Fors Pivot. What makes a synth a "monster"?
I have five out of the eight the OP listed and three installed. Some of those listed are far from being monster synths for my history and tastes.

Maybe it can make 'monsters' sounds?!
Anyway, I think I could make 'monster' sound with Retrologue, great synth really, by using Noise as modulation source. I need to search for that preset! I might have uploaded here in KVR!
Synths that I think I can make monster sounds with are: Massive X, Pigments, Reaktor, Phaseplant and FM/PM synths. I don't have Zebra 3 but I guess it is easy to make monster sounds with it!
(Yeah, I know, I miss the point, but sometimes missing the point is more interesting!
Using: Cubase Pro 15, Bitwig 5, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.
