Woah, I just found out what this is. If swilow11 didn't have previous knowledge of it, he might be a sage.
So it warrants a "whoa". Interesting. I guess we'll know soon enough as they are running out of days in 2025...

Post

Not exactly Serum 2 level of changes but a big step up for anyone who thinks supersynths are slow/cumbersome to work with.

Post

Ah, so not Reaktor 7 then. It was fun to dream.

Post

Reaktor, like NI, is dead.

Reaktor isn't even discontinued. Hopefully it will get an updated GUI some day soon enough, that's all that i want from it.

I'm fine if they just maintain 6.5 going forward. People that really know what they're doing with Reaktor are still releasing great stuff - Blinksonic, Tim Exile.

Don't get me wrong though - I'd love a Reaktor 7

I can't wait to find out what my future self already knows.

Can you drop a hint? What does it rhyme with??

Post

Probably Serum 3. Serum 2 is starting to show its age and it feels like it's right around the corner.

Post

It'll be Zebra 4 with a vocaloid oscillator module and for the next six months every post on KVR will just be, "Holy shit! A talking Zebra!"
I hate signatures too.

I was thinking that Phase Plant hasn't had a big update for a while but its already very easy to navigate...

I'm thinking maybe Massive X having easier routing and more automation capabilities. ?

Post

I'd like to finally see a Massive 2. Just like the OG, but better filters and oscs.

I do quite like Massive X though, but Massive 2 should be a thing.

Is Spire a monster synth? I've picked that up in the last year and quite like it. Strobe is also getting a lot of use. Massive X. I don't have a go to at the moment.

Proxima is also a great release this year. I didn't get it yet, but it's the perfect vibe for a future project I have in mind. Will play nice with my mono or evolver.

Is it Pigments? Heard some rumours about that.

I mean after they were overtaken by Serum on the right, they need to find sone things to bring it back to the podium.
