I have just bought a Roland JV 2080 and I very new to them, I’m trying to play my Roland JV‑2080 with a MIDI keyboard. PR-A patches (1–32) play fine, the MIDI LED flashes, and demos sound. PR-B and PR-C patches make no sound why is this..?

Are you transmitting on MIDI Channel 1?

Did you switch to Patch mode? Sounds like you’re in Performance mode. Performances are multiple sounds on different channels and there are not that many performance memories. Patch Memory ist 128 Patches per bank

Thanks a million, I switched to patch mode and changed the Midi to 4 which the EXR - 7 defaults to and all working great. Thanks for the hint really appreacate it. .
