"more advanced filter FM for the classic filters" - nice. But isn't this update pretty thin? Maybe an Apple-like problem, company mostly is busy managing itself?

Well version 6 was free as well, but it seems it had more new features, for example the modal engine...

Just my two cents.

It's anyway an even nastier (in a good way) beast now

6 and 7 both came out this year, I think the numbers are irrelevant, basically this is just a synth that gets lots of updates

Hmm, I could see why someone may think that. But, I don't think making good filters is trivial, and the ones they've added have several variations and provide a lot of color.

It's taking a long time to connect with the ASC. Maybe too many people are downloading v7, who knows.

Yes I'm getting the same thing. The last attempt I got "can't connect to the Arturia servers". The whole thing is so slow it's like the servers are running on a 1200 Baud modem.

Oh well we'll all eventually get it but I have to ask....wouldn't they anticipate such a rush and crush server load for a free update?

although it is downloading and installing fine with arturia software center
under mac os x mojave
it is crashing and does not work in logic 10.5.1/mojave (as well as hostingAU)

it does validate though, but crashes among insertion...

done a restart -> same crashy behaviour

back to v6 methinks....

but:
if it's not compatible with mojave the ASC should tell so imho...
and also the installer, which says it does a compatibility check...
