Something GOOD on KVR?!?

Hello, at the risk of showing feelings on KVR, I wanted to post something that I thought was a nice gesture, received on a very difficult day.

A few weeks ago, the first dog I've had in my adult life passed away. She was a particularly kind, intelligent, and good dog. I was told the best thing to do after this happens is get out of the house. So after spending some time looking out at the ocean and trying to remind myself about the transitory nature of all life, I got back in my car.

I noticed a piece of paper on the windshield, and at first I thought "great, a parking ticket", but it looked kind of ragged, so I turned it over. (Quick backstory, I have a sticker of the Aphex Twin logo on the back of my car.)

On the paper was a handwritten note which said:
"I love your Aphex Twin car sticker! I have one on my car that says 'KEEP HONKING, I'M LISTENING TO APHEX TWIN'S 2001 NEOCLASSICAL PIANO COMPOSITION, AVRIL 14TH'"

I've had my Aphex Twin sticker for 5+ years, and no one had ever remarked about it. That simple act of human connection felt especially good and poignant on that particular day. I hope this story at least brings a smile to your face, and if not, that something else out there does.

And when people honk at us, may we all have our favorite song blaring on the stereo, drowning them out.
