Do these plugins scale up for high resolution screens? Plugins that don't are about the size of a postage stamp on my screen, and unusable. After some thought, I figured it was a pretty important question to ask. :)
for now they just 2x the pixels so they’re more usable, but i’m working on full resizable and vector based UI elements for a future update.

Hi Tweakbench, I'm so happy about this news, just got out and bought the whole bundle. :D

That being said, I have a few questions about TB Peach of which I'm a huge fan of:
- After loading up the new version of Peach on my Mac (Cubase 15 Artist), I played around with it but all the presets sound completely different than the original version which I have installed on my old PC (just booted it up to confirm the differences).

For example, the "Overheat" sample sounds nothing like the old one, it's a completely different sound/sample. Why is that? I thought that Peach was based on samples from the real NES chips or something like that. So, shouldn't the basic sound/sample be the same or at least very similar?

Additionally, on the new version, all the presets just end when you hold them - they don't loop. In the original version, the sounds mostly looped so you could hold a key indefinitely and for example, pitch bend it. Now, the pitch bend wheel doesn't do anything on any sound.

Finally, I don't know if this is a bug or something else, but when I load up Peach in Cubase, the VST instrument window has the typical Cubase "preset selection option". When I click it, it shows weird sounding "presets" like "Djembe", "Tabla", "Kalimba", "Lo-Fi Perc", etc. Selecting any of them makes the sound of the Peach output a bit different. I don't understand if this is a bug or a feature.

Attaching the screenshot. Thank you so much!

since these are completely new rewrites from scratch, none of the old presets will be carried over. I'm still working on what the best way to offer up instrument presets is, as it's pretty different from each DAW. It sounds like you're seeing a preset pack for a different instrument in your browser but it's still changing CC params, which is doing "something". I haven't looked at Cubase in quite a long time, so I'm not sure how it's grabbing the vstpreset data, or even where it keeps those :D

as for the looping bit.. that sounds like a bug, and i'll try to get a fix in shortly!

So, when you say 2x the pixels, you are saying that they can be set to be double the pixel size right now (so that they will be big enough to be seen and used in high resolution screens)?

I look forward to the full resizable and vector based UI for the future! :)

They are usable on highdpi screens right now yes. Here's a screengrab of what it looks like on my mac compared to Live.

Ok! Anyone who's gotten some plugins since last Friday may want to go re-download from their account pages. There's been lots of Apple security tweaks on the installer and plugins themselves to solve execution sandboxing issues. Also Linux x86_64 VST3 are now included in every download as well!

Thanks for the update! I have downloaded the latest installer for the whole bundle but it seems it has a bug in how it was compiled for Mac:
- I noticed that it installs the plugins into the wrong folder. It installed your plugins into: Users > dario (my user) > Users > aaron (I guess this is your name/user) > Library > Audio > Plug-Ins > VST3

I believe your installer package uses absolute paths while it should be using relative ones. I moved the plugs manually for now but figured you'd want to know about this.

Thank you!

oh man! yeah that’s a bug. the funny thing is that i tested it on another machine, but my username was the same on that one!

i’ll rebuild the pkg installers and update all the zips shortly. thanks for the heads up, and your patience while i get the kinks out!

Hi! I bought 2 of my favorites plugins from you yesterday: dropout and sideslip. What a nostalgia! I'm having a good fun with them. Cheers :)

Excting to have you back after all these years!

Really wish the plugins were not named "TB_" :( Can you change that so they are just named their names?

Also, for any of the plugins with dropdowns, the font is too narrow, can you adjust that?

I'm working on a big UI update, so the dropdowns will be completely redone. As for the plugin names, that shouldn't be an issue!

Great! Looking forward to the updates!

I remember.
This is the same method MJ used when he was working on Anthony Marinelli's Thriller.
