1 soundcard + 2 preamps = how to setup Clock Source ?

Hello !

i got a Tascam Series 208i and an Octopre mkII Dynamic actually, the clock source is Octopre connected with ADAT to soundcard.

i bought a second Octopre (Scarlett)... Tascam 208i has two ADAT IN (ADAT A / ADAT B) for a total of 20 INs.

How do i setup all this please ?

You are covered by Tascam and first Octopre if having Octopre as sync input.
Then you use wordclock out on Tascam to wordclock in on Octopre Scarlet.
- optical out Scarlet to input B on Tascam
- done

Just get such a bnc wordclock 75 ohm cable.

Thanx. I contacted Focusrite and they told same. (Tascam support button bugs actually...)

not worked, this is how-to ;

1- Switch ON the WordClock 75 ohms behind Tascam, VERY IMPORTANT OR YOU DAMAGE STUFFS.

2- plug BNC WordClock 75 ohms cable from first Octopre OUT to second Octopre IN, then a second BNC cable 75 ohms from second Octopre OUT to Tascam WordClock IN.

3- plug both Octopres ADAT OUT to Tascam ADAT INs

4- Set 1st Octopre SYNC to INTERNAL, second OCTOPRE to ExTERNAL/WORDCLOCK, then Tascam to WORDCLOCK.

Voilà.
