I love the arpeggiator in FLStudio. Is there a VST arp with similar features? I'm using Tracktion on PC. Free or paid, don't care, just want a good arp!
Thanks,

You can always use EnergyXT, its got a damned fine arp and a shitload of other equally useful tricks.

I've looked at that, but I can't make head or tail of the arp. It seems to only support putting in your own notes, whereas I'm looking for something that runs in "chord" mode (ie, hold down a chord, it arps between the notes in that chord, and perhaps over several octaves). If I'm using it wrong, please tell me, because I'm about *this* close to buying EXT for all the other possibilities it offers!BONES wrote:You can always use EnergyXT, its got a damned fine arp and a shitload of other equally useful tricks.

I'm just getting into eXT myself. I just had a quick play with it and checked the help and you may be right. If so then they shouldn't call it an arpeggiator. Lucky for me, ORION already has one.Gwydi wrote:I've looked at that, but I can't make head or tail of the arp. Yeah - you can build the most fantastic arps in EnergyXT using a whole bag of tricks.
But if you don't want to have to learn EnergyXT, here's a link to a device that xoxos put together called arp2midi.

I've never used it myself and it comes in a bundle that costs $5. If you like it then that's a pretty small donation to make.
