I recently picked up Geist for about $72 and I’m so happy I did — it’s an awesome piece of software with tons of potential and really easy to use. Now I’m looking for sounds to feed into Geist, especially heavily processed single drum hits or samples similar to what you’d find in Battery — the kind of everyday tools turned into unique drum sounds.
I’d love recommendations for sample libraries that work well for this — particularly ones with character, grit, or unusual processing already done that make them fun to trigger and manipulate in Geist. Any go‑to packs, creators, or sources you’d suggest?

Here are some suggestions that include processed drums and special effects/foley & found sounds:

Wave Alchemy - https://www.wavealchemy.co.uk/product-c ... s/samples/
SoundMorph - https://soundmorph.com/collections/drums
Glitchmachines - https://glitchmachines.com
Databroth - https://databroth.gumroad.com/l/hbcxu?layout=profile

Goldbaby - https://www.goldbaby.co.nz/
Samples From Mars - https://samplesfrommars.com/ (Try Databenders Toolkit for something more experimental)
Waveshaper - https://payhip.com/WaveShaperDrumSamples
Since Geist can also slice, then Soniccouture's loop packs are great for this -

So where is the topic starter? Asked a question and disappeared?

I’m sure that a lot of work went into the recording and editing process for your samples. I think it would be great if you offered the audio files in both 16 & 24 bit resolution. :tu:

We are going with 16bit 44k to offer maximum compatibility with hardware and software, also accounting for limited space on hardware systems. We think the quality is totally fine, and if its not, 24bit would not magically fix it :)
