Now that Antelope is running the End of Year Deal
I jumped into an up to now unknown Brand today with the Tube Glow EQ Pack.
First impression: sounds legit,
nothing fancy but a solid workhorse.
Pro:
slimlined, easy to handle ui
doesn`t tackle cpu (zero)!?
enables fast mixing decisions, fast workflow
Con (for some):
ilok based
needs download app (can be deleted after)
cumbersome process to find purchase
Want to share your thoughts or experience (i.e device owner)?

I've been using Antelope Interfaces for around 6 years. I started with a Discrete 4, upgraded it to the Synergy Core version and then around 2 years ago upgraded to the Orion Studio Synergy Core interface. I have all of the DSP plugins so I have all of them in native format also. The DSP versions sound really good and at this point I don't notice any difference between them and the native versions.

Good to know the natives don`t show any disadvantages,psycho45039 wrote: Mon Dec 22, 2025 10:40 pm I've been using Antelope Interfaces for around 6 years. it`s the format users without cards have to evaluate.
Having now Stay-Levin as well (deal of the day),
the impression grows on me Antelope`s plugin design
is to provide users mixing tools along with their basic known characteristics.
In that context I find them pretty useable and very cpu efficient.
I suppose their end of year sale is an annual event?
If so, one can collect solid no-brainers over time.

I signed up for some free plugin... and I never installed it. The truth is, between Softube, UAD, IK Multimedia and Arturia, I'm well stocked with everything I could ever need. Sorry Antelope. Too late.

I jumped on a couple of these deals out of curiosity and I've been pleasantly surprised. Yes, the account management and install process is a bit clunky, and it appears they don't offer transfers same as UAD, but I'm happy to collect a few if no-brainer prices. The native quality seems on par with UAD and in some cases I'm preferring the Antelope option.

I played around a bit more with what I have
(well, just two offers, missed the rest)
strictly from the mixing point of view.
I think this is important to understand
otherwise you`ll have another no-brainer(s) collecting dust.
Example:
on my test template for plugins I hear the drums need more weight ...
time to call i.e a Sta in parallel and see what the Antelope`s Stay-Levin does.
Individual recordings are prepped & worked out,
means the cpu hogs defining sound, dynamics, saturation etc. did their job
and I have a halfway decent static mix ready.
... then comes mixing
and I`m super grateful for the fast & not so furious lightweight ...
So plugins like the Antelopes are my guys
when the proportion of quality & efficiency is given.
Sorry for the longer writing,
I just read a lot of misconceptions of what plugins should be able to do & deliver.
In case I`m afk later,
I wish a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all.

While I've been impressed with the plugins I've tried so far, I did run into issues after purchasing a holiday bundle. None of the iLok licenses were deposited, licenses are missing from my account, and now the launcher application fails to list any plugins. Not the best experience for a new customer. I assume Antelope support are still enjoying the xmas spirits.

Tube EQ Pack + Studio Limiter Collection (purchased today) & no issues so far.
Licenses have been sent instantly.
Could it be a Mac thing? A Matter of updating their Launcher? Licenses are connected to your ilok nick?
Just wild guessing ...

All holiday bundle iLok licenses appeared a couple of days later, just a couple missing from user account now. Launcher failed to list plugins on a couple of occasions but is working again now. It does however install the wrong files for one plugin. I eventually received a response from support, but they failed to acknowledge or resolve 2 issues flagged.Omkar wrote: Tue Dec 30, 2025 2:43 am2 Bundles amongst few other singles,db3 wrote: Fri Dec 26, 2025 11:09 pm While I've been impressed with the plugins I've tried so far, I did run into issues after purchasing a holiday bundle. I´m tempted by the studio limiter collection price being so low, but google didn´t give me any info back... have you tried them? could you share your opinions on them?Omkar wrote: Tue Dec 30, 2025 2:43 am

A lot of their plugins look like rebadges of products also sold elsewhere - eg the Maag equaliser, and some of the comps look almost identical to PA products and this:

is this

at over twice the cost

The most interesting part of a company is how good/bad the support isdb3 wrote: Tue Dec 30, 2025 10:39 amAll holiday bundle iLok licenses appeared a couple of days later, just a couple missing from user account now. when things are not going the way it was supposed to be & how they deal with it.
This separates the wheat from the chaff to my experience
to stay longer with a brand or leave.
Please share the outcome.

Mind you Antelope natives are new to me and some users reported issues.Download SOphist wrote: Tue Dec 30, 2025 11:35 amI´m tempted by the studio limiter collection price being so low, but google didn´t give me any info back... have you tried them? could you share your opinions on them?Omkar wrote: Tue Dec 30, 2025 2:43 am

Let`s assume the plugins running fine on yours like on mine,
my first impressions consolidated during the sale:
"... the impression grows on me Antelope`s plugin design
is to provide users mixing tools along with their basic known characteristics.

So with the Studio Limiter Collection,
some are just ok like the Tubechild670,
others surprised me due to the quality like the FET-A78 (bites you in the butt).
But only when you have some premium plugins to compare to,
otherwise they are very fine to mix with, don`t give you a "plastic" or "pure digital imitates something" feeling
and complements i.e stock plugins due to the worked out characteristics.
The collection goes straight medias in res by default
and I would back off the out a bit before usage.
I don`t regret any purchase during the sale so far, in particular the Studio Limiter Collection.
They are going to sit next to the "Houston we have a cpu problem" button.
The grain of salt appendum:
no time for deeper checks like aliasing etc. if this is an important critera for someone!
