This was an attempt to stitch together all the weird sounds I made during the first 20 days of December. I had an absolute blast trying to wrangle fun sounds out of this thing. The limitations actually made this way more fun than Zebralette 3 for me.

I love making music. I enjoy listening to various people's creative works and learning more.
My work might not be very easy on your ears (it’s not even a good piece to me), but I look forward to being part of this community !!

P.S. Since I don't have much money, I only use free plugins, but I would appreciate any advice on your mixing techniques, how you measure DR (Dynamic Range), and so on.

Once I got the hang of workflow, the result was this. Really liked the sound of this one. Started from a basic bass riff which was then used to set the chords in Scaler which was used to generate the other tracks. Used eight instances in Bitwig Studio. Very few external effects as the onboard chorus/phaser thingy and delay suited me perfectly. The following plugins were used:

- the usual clip to zero trio of dpMeter5, Blue Cat Gain 3 and KClip Zero
- Dawsome/Signs of Life Sol as a change from Valhalla Supermassive
- TDR Nova and Kotelnikov on Mastering duty along with a little something from HorNetTapeLite

A mix of patches from init and a couple derived from the factory patches. Midi copied from Scaler and tweaked as required.

Okay, knowing that this is expected behavior for other full bucket synths makes me feel much better.

Yes, that's how it works with most of my plugins (a memento of the good old VST2 days). Thanks to zprime for pointing this out!
Some of my babies have the opportunity to restore the original factory sounds using the Menu, but not Oxid, sorry.

No prob! Now that I've gotten used to it, it's not so bad. It's also kinda cool never having to worry that I lost any changes. The modern way of having to manually save presets is still more intuitive, but I'm not even sure it's better at this point. Definitely easier for preset sharing, but for just me and Reaper, this different work flow is kinda cool. I just wish there was a "reset to factory" button. That would be perfect.

And thanks for making these synths!! I feel like I'm speaking to a legend right now. A little starstruck tbh

I foolishly thought that in just a few hours, I could have a full entry from scratch in a DAW I'm still learning (a few months of Bitwig after 17 years of FL Studio), plus having the time to upload it and list out all of its plugins. Once I thought about it like that from the back end, I realized there was going to be no way:
