VST Synths with great sequencer presets

Just installed some Korg demos and particularly thought Wavestate native and to a lesser extent Multi/Poly had some great "hard rhythm" (Korgs description!) sequence presets that would be great for getting inspiration for new songs and chord progressions. I've got Omnisphere and Sylenth but they don't seem to have anything comparable to that really. I am talking about the effect when you find a sequence patch that you could happily lose the next hour in one fingered bass progressions - if you've been there then you will know what I am talking about :D .

Any other suggestions?

Initial audio Sektor, Ujam, Nexus, Avenger, Nakst Integrate, Hybrid 3

I think Omnisphere has a lot of great potential for designing rhythmic patches, and it’s fairly easy to use too. But here’s some other synths that should be on your list:

Minimal Audio - Current 2
Arturia - Pigments 7
u-he - Hive 2
u-he - Zebra 2 & 3
Xfer Records - Serum 2
Sugar Bytes - Obscurium
UVI - Falcon 2026
Tone2 - Icarus3
VPS - Avenger 2
DS Audio - Thorn

Synapse Audio DUNE 3 and Proxima.
Rob Papen Predator 3 and Blue 3.

SuperTron from Solcito Musica is fun, but more of an arpeggiator.
Great sounds to arpeggiate.

UGO M-Theory & REZ3 I still use, can be very musical>>>

SynthMaster 1,2 or 3 ....they all have a great sequencer/arpeggiator

ANA 2....it has a brilliant sequencer...my favourite...

Thorn...sequencer + glitch = nice !
No auto tune...

Sorry, what's a "sequencer preset" (or patch)? You mean an arp patch?

Post

I'm not a fan of so called preset machines, but Tone2's synths have the best house presets of any I've tried and I own pigments falcon and diva. Also old but incredible sounding off the bat is air's Loom II (but be prepared to squint if you have over 1080p monitor)

Thx...I guess this gets more into stuff I don't really mess with. That looks like an arp to me.

If you're going to do ARP, then do it the original: Blue ARP :D

I find it a bit intimidating. Too advanced for me. :-o
As for sequenser, i prefer external ones like HY-seq32 or SequencAir. :tu:
Just felt for a push of the anonymous Supertron.
