Hey all,
it seems, that all if my LV2 plugins only show the generic tracktion GUI or just don't show any GUI at all. I'm on linux mint, in other hosts, no issues with LV2 GUIs.
Any ideas on this?

Some LV2 plugins still use the old GTK source and their GUI couldn't be loaded in Waveform, you can try installing lv2-gtk-ui-bridge package from AV Linux server here, install it opening terminal in the folder where you downloaded the lv2-gtk-ui-bridge file and type sudo apt install ./lv2-gtk-ui-bridge-falktx-lv2_20240603-bsrpkg1-1_amd64.deb press enter, after install open Waveform, remove all plugins and re-scan your plugins again, then try now to load your LV2 plugins.

I already have installed the lv2-gtk-ui-bridge via the kxstudio repo.

In Waveform settings under the plugins tab, i selected "remove LV2 plugins" and after that i rescanned for new LV2 plugins, but nothing changes in the edits. :-/
Here is a little screenshot from two LV2 plugins, one shows generic GUI, the other one (GxAmplifier-Stereo) just "freezes" it's GUI

Ok, in that case install Carla vst plugin and load your LV2's from the Carla vst plugin inside Waveform.

Just an advice, The best and the most compatible distro for Waveform is
Ubuntu Studio 24.04.3 and also comes pre-configured for audio production, also KDE DE is more friendly with Waveform 13.

Thanks for your reply! Yeah, Carla is a possible workaround, but the Carla GUI is quite big and can't be resized, and whenever I want to show up a GUI from a plugin loaded into Carla, it opens in the backround and carla always stays in front of it. I couldn't find a setting in Carla to change that.
Now, I really like mint and cinnamon Desktop, but maybe I need to change that. But I'd rather like to find a solution with Mint. 😉

I now found out, that after switching to Wayland (instead of X11 display server), the plugins wich had a froyen GUI no show up their native GUI, which is great. Those, which showed generic GUI still do so.
Could another Desktop environment maybe also change the appearance of the plugins?

JUCE (Waveform) has limited LV2 support.
LV2 GUI spec is not well engineered.
So, intersection of two these statements is a result you've got. You can report bugs to plugins devs and/or JUCE devs.
