I have updated the Windows installer. Now it includes a setup (install_for_old_cpu.exe) for old CPUs that do not have support AVX2: it shall run ok on CPUs of 2006-2013.

I finally got a setting in 3D mode that doesn't sound way too "wet".
I copied one of the "POS" presets and then tried to make a lot of the settings like Room 01.
I think it has to do with the ER and LR gain settings. Do the 3D models not use any LR?
It seems to sound best with LR gain = 0. (and that's what the Pos_45L preset uses.)

This plugin sounds really good. When is the official release of this plugin scheduled?

>regarding 3D
there are currently only a couple of presets that use LR 3D.
I need to spend some time making presets that demo all this stuff properly.
and for LR 3D one has to make sure that LR Cross is low (below 10%) and LR SPREAD is above 15%
and as in case with ER's 3D, the position arrangement must be asymmetric.
>release date
hopefully march

Intel Mac Build is now available for downloading on the web site.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
1) Mac Intel build has been tested on old cpu only at the moment, however the binary contains optimised dynamically-dispatched code branches for AVX2/AVX512 enabled systems. If you have such a system please test and report to me.
The code branch info is now displayed in plug-in version/info string on about page (click on DEVPROAUDIO or REVERSIDE in top bar to see)
so for pre AVX2 system it will display: SSE2:4
for AVX2: AVX2:8
for AVX512: AVX512:16
2) Mac Intel build requires MacOS version 10.15 (Catalina) as a minimum
if it does not run on your system please collect debug logs in:
/Users/<user>/Music/Devproaudio/logs/reverside
and send to info@devproaudio.com

Does the demo unlock with our serial?

beta serials will work until this particular build expires (on 1st march 2026) while full version serials will make it run forever. so yes both types of serial will do.

Not a lot to say - this reverb must be getting ready for release
One question - why is there a 3D setting (for Q1, Q2, Q3) on the "Time" tab - under "Cross" that can be different from the one on the "Space" tab (REFL 3D)?
Surely those are both setting the same thing (Q1, Q2 or Q3) but they can be set differently.
Also - I am convinced that the settings for 3D spaces are still better with "Mix" < 100%. The RumbaCodex presets do this and it just sounds better. For me (maybe I'm wrong) using Mix = 100% for the 3D settings is too wet.
Anyway - I look forward to this being released, so I can use it for something more than "test projects"

3D Settings on Time tab are Early Reflection's 3D settings while Space tab's pertain to Late Reflection's 3D. and well internally they are somewhat different. The latter can be used to enhance a depth of a stereo image.

one can of course use mix < 100%, you'd just have some non-spatialised signal in the output.
mix=100% recommendation applies only when one wants to use Reverside as a 3D Placement tool, like as if you need to mix orchestral instruments placed at different locations in a shared acoustic space.

aah OK - that makes sense now3D Settings on Time tab are Early Reflection's 3D settings while Space tab's pertain to Late Reflection's 3D. and well internally they are somewhat different. The latter can be used to enhance a depth of a stereo image.
I know I keep mentioning this - it just sounds too "wet" for me.mix=100% recommendation applies only when one wants to use Reverside as a 3D Placement tool, like as if you need to mix orchestral instruments placed at different locations in a shared acoustic space.
I only mention it to see what anyone else thinks
It's coming along very nicely though Denis
